SIRA stands for Systems Integration for Railways Advancement and aims to develop a platform for system integration supported by the state-of-the-art technology and consolidated experience consisting of four key socio-technical pillars which are: system definition, integration framework, the body of knowledge, and optimal choices as shown through the figure below.
